WHAT IT COVERS
Covered and not covered
Covered, for as long as you own the car
✓Bubbling or blistering in the paint we applied
✓Peeling, flaking or lifting paint or lacquer
✓Lacquer that goes cloudy or loses its gloss because of our materials or workmanship
✓Filler or repair edges showing through our paintwork
✓A colour that isn’t right. If the match is off because of our work, we’ll paint it again
Not covered
✕New damage to the panel, including the same panel being damaged again, such as stone chips, scratches, dents or accidents. The warranty only covers faults caused by our work.
✕Areas of the car we didn’t repair or paint
✕Damage from harsh chemicals, jet washing too soon, or not following our aftercare advice
✕Rust of any kind. There’s no warranty on rust, including rust that appears on or around a repaired area
✕Damage that was already there and wasn’t part of the repair we agreed
✕Any panel that another bodyshop or repairer has worked on or painted since we did. This makes the warranty void for that panel.
HOW TO CLAIM
If something’s not right
1Get in touchMessage us on WhatsApp on 07746 125059 with photos of the problem, your name and your reg.
2We take a lookWe’ll ask you to bring the vehicle in so we can check it properly, including a paint film thickness test that shows whether the panel has been repaired or repainted by anyone else since us.
3We fix it freeIf it’s caused by our work, we repair it at no cost and book it in as soon as we can.
The small print
- The warranty covers every panel we paint. It’s for the person who paid for the repair, lasts while they own the vehicle, and doesn’t transfer to a new owner.
- Please keep your invoice. It’s your proof of what we repaired and when.
- We’ll always repair the fault ourselves in our Longton workshop. The warranty doesn’t cover repairs done elsewhere.
- Follow the aftercare advice we give you when you collect the vehicle. The most important one: please don’t wash the repaired area for the first 5 days while the paint fully hardens.
Your legal rights
This warranty is on top of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. It doesn’t take any of them away.
If you’re ever unhappy with a repair, tell us straight away. We want every job to be right.
